Business startup courses was created by me, Lesley Johnston, founder of the parent company Internet Growth Systems.

I have been teaching business owners since 2002, how to create their own website, how to track and measure their results, use social networking and social media to grow their brand, as well as many different internet marketing strategies.  It soon became clear to me that many of the strategies I was teaching didn’t make sense to many of my clients as they didn’t have a full understanding of the basics of building an online business.  So I set out on a mission to create something just for the beginner.  Hence, business startup courses was born!

It is very important to me that you have a solid understanding of how things work and integrate with each other.  So many trainings are based on the “you need to do this to achieve x”, without fully explaining HOW to do it and WHY you are doing it.  Have you ever felt stupid for asking what seems to be such a simple question but no matter how hard you try you don’t know the answer, and waste hours trying to figure it out?  Don’t worry you are not alone!

There are really smart, successful business owners who come online and feel like an ackward school kid again because the rules change when you come online and they are left floundering not sure what to do.  Also, there are those who want to start their own online business because they want to be able to stay at home with their kids, but give their family a better standard of living.  Whatever the scenario, my vision is to provide you the tools, resources and support to be able to enjoy a successful online experience, 24/7!
